PiniPico Coffee Co.

PiniPico Coffee Co. brings the warm spirit of the Brazilian people to Chicago.  We reconfigured the layout of this corner storefront space to better take advantage of the natural light from the 1889 building's large windows.  Brazilian cherry millwork, wide plank wood floors, and bright green paint recall the textures and colors of the Brazilian rainforest, while a colorful mural painted by the students of BUILD Chicago alludes to the country's celebrated beaches.  The tile behind the counter is Eden Cotone from Midamerica Tile, the banquette upholstery is Color Collage in Equator from Knoll, and Argo Pendant Lights from Ylighting hang from the ceiling.
