The Florian

The Florian is a Classic Supper Club with a focus on prime rib, classic cocktails, and a thoughtfully curated wine list conveniently located on the third floor of the Lyric Opera House.

We dug through decades of archived playbills, costumes and stage sets to furnish Florian's art as well as inspire colors and fabrics. The drapery and tassel, for example, are inspired by a costume worn by Maria Callas when she made her American debut at the Lyric in 1954.  

There is also a digital art installation (a collaboration with project mapping artists @visualfeeder) of archival film footage of the Joffrey Ballet. A perfect blend of old and new, nostalgic and forward-looking.
