Bettie’s Chicago

Bettie’s is a 1950s diner-themed baking school and event space with hands-on classes taught by book author and Instagram’s favorite retro chef Baker Bettie. True to her brand, Baker Bettie has an enviable collection of vintage bakeware, furniture and art pieces. Our challenge was to showcase the treasures in a playful, inviting space that was sturdy enough to stand up to the steady influx of amateur pastry chefs who seek out Baker Bettie’s instruction. Bettie’s Chicago also serves as a filming studio for Baker Bettie’s wildly popular YouTube channel, so every angle needed to be well-lit and artfully arranged so as to be perpetually camera-ready.
