Willow Room
Willow Room in Chicago, redesigned by Siren Betty Design, combines Victorian charm with modern sophistication. After a winter freeze prompted a full refresh, the restaurant and lounge were revived with glossy olive lacquer, floral upholstery, and House of Hackney textiles, creating a refined yet inviting atmosphere that feels effortlessly timeless.
Originally designed by the firm in 2016, Willow Room’s reimagining celebrates craftsmanship, comfort, and character. The upstairs dining room glows with a rich green lacquered wall, velvet seating, and dark refinished floors that ground the space in warmth. Below, the bar and lounge embrace deeper tones and tactile materials, layered with patterned wallcoverings, floral upholstery, and softly diffused light. Even the powder rooms carry playful personality through bold prints and unexpected details. Every design choice preserves the restaurant’s approachable elegance while deepening its visual intrigue. The result is a welcoming environment that honors its neighborhood roots and reflects Siren Betty Design’s vision for spaces that are expressive, intimate, and beautifully cohesive.
