Gemini Grill

Inspired by the restaurant's namesake sign - playful, warm, curious, the social butterfly of the zodiac - we drew on the duality of masculine and feminine evoke a timeless, relaxed and welcoming feel across the restaurant's two floors.  On the first, classic menswear motifs like houndstooth, tweed, plaid, and leather are juxtaposed with curving clamshell booths, gold-toned hardware, and sparkling mirrors.  The restaurant's second floor has a clubby, members only feel, with wood paneling, crystal sconces, velvet curtains and wallcoverings reminiscent of a silk scarf. 

A carefully curated collection of original artwork incorporates a blend of both subtle and overt references to the Gemini sign. Thoughtful considerations such as fabric-wrapped panels, acoustical drapery, and micro-perforated acoustical wood panels and ceiling panels by Soundply were incorporated; even felt beams made to look like wood are hidden among their hardwood twins.
